Bouwimpex supplied fire-retardant PVC panels for various applications in the new construction of a pig barn in Lierderholthuis (Overijssel). The Bouwplast-plus FR panels were used for the partitioning walls, the pen layout and the ventilation system.

Ventilation by means of cavity wall

• The ventilation system in the barn was largely realised with Bouwplast-plus FR panels.
• Fresh air enters the barn via the cavity wall. The inner wall panelling consists of Bouwplast-plus FR panels.
• The air flow enters the basements under the sections through openings in the inner wall panelling.
• The fresh air flows from the basement into the barn through an air inlet, made from Bouwplast-plus FR panels. Panels in the special 500/50 mm size were used for this. The panels, which are open on both sides, are mounted against the wall and connect the basement with the sections.

Partitioning walls and pen layout

Grey Bouwplast-plus FR panels were used for the partitioning walls and the pen layout. The smart system with its unique click connection allows the panels to be mounted both vertically (walls) and horizontally (pen partitions). The click system is fitted by default with an EPDM sealing, to create a seamless and hygienic connection.

Skylight Bouwplast Easy

To allow good natural lighting, long skylights have been used consisting of Bouwplast Easy PVC window frames. Bouwplast Easy windows are known for their quality and quick and simple installation. The windows can be placed directly into the aperture from the outside because they are equipped with a default flange with EPDM leak sealing.

Bouwimpex also provided the doors for the new barn. The Agraplast Iso-plus PVC interior doors are damp-proof, as are the Agraplast PVC exterior doors. These solid, very strong doors can be mounted quickly and are very durable.
