At the end of 2017, the Ten Have-Mellema family started work on the new frisky piggery to be built. This summer the project was delivered. The innovative piggery offers space for 4,900 fattening pigs that are housed in an animal-friendly manner by, among other things, a semi-covered outdoor access with grilles, a spacious sealed floor and inlet valves on the side of the piggery. This piggery meets the requirements of the Beter Leven-keurmerk with 2 stars and offers all the conditions for further development of its own, animal-friendly Hamlet pork concept.

For this great project, Bouwimpex supplied, among other things, the LuxAir system (Bouwplast window frames / windows in combination with inlet valves), Bouwplast plastic window frames & edge veneer and Bouwplast tilt and turn windows with ventilation grilles. The inside of the piggery is equipped with, among other things, Bouwplast plastic panels fire class B, ASW PIR FR insulation (fire class B-S2-D0) and Agraplast plastic inner doors with a stainless-steel built-in frame.

The work was carried out in cooperation with the Fledderman construction company.
